State the order basis
Specify quantity and unit clearly: kg, MT, bags, pallets, containers, square metres, slabs or pieces. If ordering by bag or pallet, request confirmation of its net contents. Recurring procurement should identify the demand period.
Packaging is product-specific
Request the packaging appropriate to the exact proposed material and delivery route. Bag sizes, drum capacities, crate contents and container loading are not universal values. They must be confirmed in the supplier quotation and supporting documents.
Define destination and documents
Include country, city or port, preferred Incoterm and required date. Ask for the documents your procurement process needs, such as TDS, SDS, batch certificate or origin documentation. Transport and regulatory decisions require the actual product classification and qualified logistics review.
Procurement overview only. Consult the proposed manufacturer's documents for product-specific requirements.
